Acca Kappa developed an innovative new line. Bioceta is a line of biodegradable porducts made of cellulose acetate, a material extracted from cotton. In fact, the Bioceta degradation time is compared to that of an oak leaf. Bioceta products are very resilient, have a deep gloss and a high transparency.  

What does biodegradable mean?
A biodegradable product has the ability to break down, safely and relatively quickly, by biological means, into the raw materials of nature and disappear into the environment. Of the many products including glass and metal that are not biodegradable, plastic is one of the worst: over a million and a half tons are dumped every year and it takes 100 to 1000 years to biodegrade.
