Fingernails that receive necessary nutriments and grow normally may nevertheless be damaged by external factors.  Some of these are exposure to strong detergents and other cleaning products, sharp blows or adverse environmental conditions.

This does not mean that all "active" hands will develop soft, brittle nails but their chances of doing so are greater if the nails are not protected.  Mavala 002 is a clear base coat that forms a flexible barrier between nails and nail polish.

It prevents pigments in nail polish from coming in direct contact with the nail plate and causing staining. Mavala 002 also improves the adherence of nail polish and makes every manicure last longer.

• Apply over the whole surface of clean nail plate before nail colour.
